Sea & delta

Romanian Black Sea Coast has both history and entertaining side; therefore a tour in the region would be full of memorable sightseeings. First stop coming from Bucharest will be Constanta city. We do not have time to see all the beauties of the city....as well as nightlife doesnt give a break to the full day tours and beach fun.
About Constanta
Founded by Greek colonists from Miletos in the 6th century BC, Tomis was conquered by the Romans in 71 BC and renamed Constantiana by Roman Emperor Constantine the Great in honor of his sister. The name was shortened to Constanta during the Ottoman era. During the 13th century, Italy, especially Genoese merchants, dominated the Black Sea and Constanta flourished, only to decline two centuries later under Turkish rule. Fine mansions and hotels were built in the 19th century when King Carol I decided to revive Constanta as a port and seaside resort. The third largest city in Romania, Constanta is now an important cultural and economic centre, worth exploring for its archaeological treasures and the atmosphere of the old town centre. Its historical monuments, ancient ruins, grand Casino, museums and shops, and proximity to beach resorts make it the focal point of Black Sea coast tourism. Open-air restaurants, nightclubs and cabarets offer a wide variety of entertainment.
Black Sea Coast   lies north and south of Constanta along DN39,a 70km road with many resorts built during communism, renovated, but still keeping the 1970-s arhitecture style. Summer time holds the heart of entertainment in Romania, a lot of tourists, from many countries, fill the region. It is a place for happy people which enjoy the severe heat of the summer days in Romania (45 degrees in Dobrodgea, maybe less along the shore), but still VERY HOT! Full 5 months of never-ending summer, concerts and a lot, a lot of fun!
